Consumer networks usually consist of 10/100 or 1Gbps networks over twisted copper pair ethernet (RJ-45) today. These
networks are aproximately 10 years older than 10Gbps networks over twisted pair (RG-45) available. Deployment of the
10Gbps technology has been slow due to the recession and cryptocurrency mining market in 2016-2020, but is standard on
all AGS platforms with dual-10Gbps capability on some models. Switching equipment in this area may be too expensive
for entry-level content creators, and is priced for business and commercial class users. Older 100/1000 switches are
compatible, and will allow limited (10%) connectivity versus 10Gbps. Customers should look forward to managing these
networks in future, as they can optimize flows and create service levels for multi-tenent AGS and BGS user platforms in
one location at optimized speeds. Actual internet speeds limit all network use, but high speeds aid in video production
across multiple stations (ABS - BGS), and in post-production work.
